Scoopfree Automatic Litter Box - Worth the Price?

We're a 2-cat house and our mom makes sure we are well cared for and have what we need, which used to mean cleaning out our litter box every day.  If she went out of town without us, there was usually a mess to deal with if the cat sitter didn't keep things spotless for us.   We demand a clean, fresh-smelling box.  I mean, you wouldn't want to use a filthy bathroom either would you?  Add to our fastidious demands the fact that our litter box was in the bathroom off of mom's office where she has clients visit, the situation was crucial.

She has tried clumping litter, a hood,  etc but it our box still smelled so the only real option for her was to clean it out every time it was used.  Not very practical for any of us.  Also, no matter how hard we tried to keep our paws clean we ended up tracking litter out of the box and into the carpeted office. 

The search was on for an automatic kitty litter box.  Mom wanted something that worked and wasn't a hassle to deal with.  We did too, especially since we didn't want to be banished from the office.

Mom did a lot of research on electric cat litter boxes to find one that would be ideal for our situation.  She wanted it to be odor-free, automatically scooping soon after the box was used, easy to clean and reliable.  She didn't want our automatic litter box to stop working when she was gone and leave us kitties in a bigger mess.

Sashakitty and I really appreciate how clean and neat our box stays now.  The Scoopfree litter with its magic blue crystals absorbs our pee and dries out our poop quickly so it can be raked into its own little sealed box.  Mom then just changes the tray every 2 to 3 weeks and it all goes out in one self-contained piece.  Mom loves how there is no fuss or muss and especially no odor. Yay Us!  She says it is so convenient that she wishes she had gotten one for us a long time ago and is worth every penny.  Of course any pennies mom spends on us are worth it. 

Mom had to go out of town soon after she got us our automatic cat litter box.  That was the deciding factor for her.  When she came home the house was clean smelling, our cat box was clean and there was no kitty litter tracked into the office carpet.  We were delighted that it lived up to even our fastidious standards and never felt the need to  use the carpet as a litter box because our box was dirty. 

We've had our automated litter box for a year now and it has remained reliable and fuss free for mom and clean and tidy for us kitties.  Sashakitty and I think every kitty deserves a clean and tidy box and humans need one that doesn't smell up the house.  Our recommendation is the Scoopfree Automatic Litter Box, we give it 5 paws up!
